Where Our Scents Come From (And Why They Matter)

So now that you've met us and know what Behind The Glow is all about, let’s get into one of our favorite parts of the process—creating scents.

We don’t just pick random fragrance oils and call it a day. Every scent we pour has a purpose. It’s inspired by a memory, a vibe, or a feeling we want to capture. That’s what makes PureWickd different. We want every candle to remind you of something real.

Take Nana’s Kitchen, for example. It smells like warm vanilla, brown sugar, and a little cinnamon spice. It’s not just a cozy candle—it’s that feeling of being in your grandma’s kitchen on a Sunday morning, when everything felt safe and good.

Or Sakura’s Grace, which is soft, floral, and just a bit sweet. It’s inspired by spring mornings when everything feels new and light. We wanted it to feel like the kind of scent you breathe in during a peaceful walk under cherry blossoms.

Each candle starts with a story like that. We sit down, think about the moment we want to bottle up, and start building the scent from there. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Okay… a lot of tries. But when it clicks? Pure magic.
